We are now looking for a 

 

Energy Storage System Lifecycle Coordinator, AFEU

 

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Helsinki, Finland.

 

As Energy Storage System Lifecycle Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure that correct warranty data is present in SAP project builder on the WBS level and see to it that all internal stakeholders maintains the data on their responsibility level.
  • Support service request and administrate warranty claims and respond to them in a fast and professional way (properly documented and stored in correct location.
  • Secure that necessary corrective actions resulting from warranty claims and agreement deliveries are taken in a timely fashion 
  • Foster customer satisfaction in all activities and promote / adhere to QEHS
  • Ensure that accurate reporting, including agreement and warranty cost management (provision calculations/estimates), is done on time and in the agreed way.
  • Secure/initiate that reclaiming of local and global vendors is done properly by collaborating with Product Quality Team, ( Non-Conformity ) and that vendor warranty credits are booked to the warranty work number in question.
  • Collaborate with Agreement Team and be a team member if support is needed.
  • Harmonize the utilization of service network in order to increase usage of local resources in accordance with guidelines.
  • Close the warranty period with Agreement Manager towards customer.
  • Support the product responsible team in preparation and handling of settlement meetings with the vendors / suppliers
  • Build and ensure a good and professional relation between the customer and Wärtsilä by fulfilling the contractual obligations.
  • Secure feedback and internal reporting to all involved stakeholders.
  • Minimise agreement and warranty costs for Wärtsilä and customers.
  • Keep safety of people as the highest priority.
  • Support and suggest any improvements needed on the operative agreement and warranty handling process within the geographical region.
  • Monitor and engage with daily agreement management and warranty handling activities, in order to lead and act when needed.
  • Ensure that warranty policies are applied.
  • Make reports within set time limit when required.

 

Development Responsibilities:

 

  • Support in the success and development of process on designated Area ESS Lifecycle Support Services backing up as ESS Lifecycle Manager when out of office leading to the next level as per set performance targets. Clear accountabilities and responsibilities of a possible managerial role in ESS Lifecycle Services and Development Team
  • Learning of key concepts related to Energy Storage business internally and externally.
  • Learning of the Agreement key contractual obligations towards the customers.
  • Secure and maintain very good external and internal stakeholder relations 
  • Establish an own network of contacts in order to secure smooth and efficient handling during the warranty, agreement and lifecycle period. 
  • Develop and maintain a list of supplier and subcontractor contacts.
  • Provide lessons learned (sharing knowledge) to internal stakeholders acquired during the management of each installation. 


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have/be: 

 

  • Advanced level of communication skills and ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Strong understanding of cost-effective practices and ability to implement them.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and principles and knowledge of local labour laws.
  • Good facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in operational excellence practices.
  • Advanced organisational, presentation and reporting skills
  • Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team effectively 
  • Good knowledge of Energy Storage Systems (ESS), ESS Electrical systems and ESS control systems
  • Ability to perform technical analysis.
  • Basic understanding of auxiliary systems and materials used in the industry.
  • Good understanding of service and maintenance management practices, basic knowledge of materials used in the industry.
