Job Title: Project Engineer (Digital Solutions), Voyage Services

 

We are looking for Project Engineer, Engineering & Support, MEA. This position is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

 

What will you be doing

 

As Project Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Perform allocated works, installations and services, participation in FAT/HAT/SAT, local coordination of works with customer's representatives and suppliers;
  • Project technical specifications, system design drawings and scope of supply preparation and review;
  • Identification and evaluation of technical solutions, preferred models and vendors for 3rd party equipment which is to be used within the scope of supply;
  • Perform customer support by email, phone and on-site;
  • Perform quality control of completed job;
  • Adhere to internal company and functional policies and procedures

 

  To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • BSc in IT engineering and/or applicable IT/Electronics/CAD certification
  • Proficient in Computer / IT skills, preferably familiar with Windows server, Cisco, VMware and Citrix
  • Troubleshooting, technical skills and solution envision, personal and subordinates job planning capabilities
  • At least 1 year of apprenticeship or working experience in similar task
  • Interest in modern PC hardware, Virtualization and Networks
  • Proficient in English - Written and verbal

 

Additional advantages for candidates would be:

  • Cisco CCNA certification or better
  • MCSA certification
  • Knowledge in RADAR, VHF, AIS, ECDIS, GMDSS
