Apprentice Workshop Technician

We are now looking for an Apprentice Workshop Technician for our Aberdeen workshop.

 


As a Apprentice Workshop Technician - Engine Services, your responsibilities include: 

 

  • Attend college to complete a SVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working alongside trained Technicians you will observe and learn how to execute workshop service tasks, such as marine engine overhauls, reconditioning, modification, cleaning and machining of reciprocating engine components.
  • Whilst you work you will ensure that all activities in the workshop and on-site are carried out in accordance with the site safety rules and in compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety standard ISO 45001/2018.
  • Learn how to understand and follow local work instructions to support with overhauling components.
  • As your competence develops you will become an important part of the workshop team. As such some overtime hours may become necessary to maintain deadlines.
