We are looking for Diver Technicians. In this position, your job will mainly be in the Port of Valencia and working hours will normally run from Monday to Friday, with a maximum of eight hours continued. However, due to the nature of the role as well as the services we provide, the flexibility to work outside these central hours and during weekends is essential. Also, you should be available to travel to other ports, or other countries. The positions are permanent.

 

What will you be doing?

 

• To participate in all kinds of underwater works: Underwater inspections and repairs, underwater maintenances, etc.

• To carry out the maintenance of underwater machinery and tools.

 

You will shine in this role when you have:

 

  • Book of professional underwater activities of other Spanish autonomous communities.
  • Certificate of First Aid at Work / CPR-AED for Commercial Diving delivered in accordance with ERC European Resuscitation Council and currently first aid practice for professional divers.
  • Certificate of Oxygen Provider for Commercial Diving delivered in accordance with ERC European Resuscitation Council and currently first aid practice for professional divers.
  • Certificate of Basic Training in Maritime Safety (issued by the Spanish General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, according to the provisions of the International Convention of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978 as amended).
  • Updated Medical Examination for Sea-service in accordance with ILO MCL 2006 and IMO STCW 78 (as amended) and RD 1696/2007, December 14th, maritime shipping medical examinations.
  • Certificate in Occupational Risk Prevention, according to Spanish standards.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Driving license and own vehicle.
