Maintenance Technician, Electrical

We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician, Electrical to join our O&M team at Jordan, Amman.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain and operate the plant during the shift operation as well as general shift maintenance according to company policies, procedures and operation profile/plan.
  • Recondition, and repair engine control instrument and auxiliary equipment.
  • Carry out inspections of all electrical equipment and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Comply with all safety regulations (including isolation, lock out and tag out) and perform emergency procedures in order to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety devices.
  • Assist Electrical Supervisor as required.
  • Ensure that the working area, machines, auxiliary equipment and tools are kept in good and clean condition.
  • Identify and correct electrical related abnormalities of the engines and plant auxiliaries.
  • Create work reports according to guidelines.

 

You will shine in this role when you have

  • Minimum qualification and experience required is 12 years for ITI (Electrical) and 8 years experience for Diploma (Electrical) .
  •  Ability to perform shift activities in all respect as well as maintenance activities of Wartsila DG power plant and its auxiliaries
  • Abiltiy to Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical system/equipment's of Wartsila make DG power plant.
