Shift Supervisor

Main responsabilities:

  • To implement contract management process.
  • To ensure that the work is executed to Wartsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
  • Perform operation and maintenance activities of DG power plant. 
  • To performing mechanical and electrical major overhaul activities of engine and auxiliary equipment's independently.  To take measurement during major overhaul as per required check sheet. To take equipment vibration readings and its analysis. 
  • To analyze operating data and operation and maintenance record and initiate preventive/corrective actions in accordance with prudent operation/maintenance practice. 
  • To maintain all operation and maintenance records as per guidelines.
  • To prepare, review and update annual operation plan and maintenance schedule for the installation.
  • To analyze equipment failure/tripping and provide root cause analysis report along with proposed preventive/corrective actions as per contract management process.
  • Evaluation of system water, lube oil and fuel oil analysis report, trending of parameters and suggesting fluid management.
  • To recommend modifications and improvements to the installation.
  • To plan spare part/consumables (mechanical and electrical) requirement and periodic review to ensure its availability.  
  • Familiar with Maximo, CRM, Tech Request, TKB etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical/Electrical graduate engineer with minimum 10 years’ experience or Mechanical/Electrical Diploma engineer with 15 years’ experience. DG powerplant operation and mechanical as well as electrical maintenance execution.
