General Manager - Cargo and Fuel Systems

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for delivering the new build portfolio within Cargo and Fuel Systems Product Line. 
You will lead and inspire a team of project managers whilst continuing to improve results ensuring that the best possible gross margin is delivered to the business.
 

Accountabilities:
 
- Profit and loss of the area of responsibility 
- Execution strategy of projects within the area of responsibility
- Development of people and competence within the area of responsibility
- Keep optimum manning with the right qualifications within areas of responsibility

 
Responsibilities
 
- Translate the strategy to objectives. Involve the project management team in understanding the strategy
- Establish and follow up action plans to support the strategy
- Collaborate with the technology team to ensure that product development is driven by customer demand while assuring our competitiveness
- Suggest and champion new ways of working to improve efficiency and drive employee and customer engagement 
- Support sales department during bid phase assuring that scope of work is well understood and budget is sufficient
- Responsible for the Health and Safety for his / her personnel
- Leadership according to Company’s guidelines
       • Setting Performance targets
       • Continuous feedback and coaching
       • Evaluating performance
