Product Engineer - Process

Due to incoming projects in our organization in Wärtsilä Gas Solutions we are searching Product Engineer - Process Engineering. Position is open for Poland, Norway & Spain.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for the Technology and Products
  • Accountable for standardisation of products with the support of Product Management Team
  • Accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining Product Portfolios in TeamCenter
     

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Gas Solution with a center of excellence for Product knowledge
  • Participation in studies for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, onshore and offshore, VOC, Biogas, NH3 and LCO2
  • Preparation and maintenance of process standard documents in form of spreadsheets and simulations
  • Develop and maintain Product Portfolio in TeamCenter based on relevant rules regulations, requirements and QHSE aspects
  • Develop and maintain Product Portfolio in TeamCenter based on feedback from Gas Solutions
  • Provide Product training and support to engineers in Gas Solutions
  • Participate and follow up on product assessments (e.g. environment, criticality etc.)
  • Develop and maintain ways of working for future products as well as training material
     

Our requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in process engineering or equivalent
  • Experience from maritime, Oil & Gas and/or process industry engineering
  • Experience developing process simulations, P&IDs, PFDs, process calculations and dimensioning of equipment
  • Experience developing Control Philosophies and Cause & Effect Matrices will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with applicable Classification Societies rules for marine industry (DNV, BV, LRS, ABS etc.) and other international standards such as IEC/API/NORSOK.
  • Ability to work in a multinational team
  • Fluent English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Minimum 5 years of professional relevant experience
  • Structured, analytical and proactive work attitude
