Sales Manager Life-Cycle Services

We are now looking for a Sales Manager Life-Cycle Services to join our Life-cycle Services team and a key person in our organization to drive service business growth for our rapidly increasing installed base. You will be responsible for supporting customers with parts, field services or other products to help them optimise operations of the equipment. The preferred location for this position is in Norway or Finland, but other locations can be considered.

As Sales Manager Life-Cycle Services, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Make timely and competitive offers for parts and services to customers and follow through. Can be directly to customers or via the Wärtsilä network.
  • Ensure that the proposed solution fulfils customer requirements and is technically feasible
  • Analyse the installed base, customer needs, behaviours and trends for updating the strategy of the
    team and business unit
  • Support the development, pricing and promotion of parts and service offerings
  • Support the Wärtsilä network and business unit peers in optimising sales and profitability of parts and
    services
  • Ensure that customer and installed base information is updated in Wärtsilä systems

 

Main requirements in this role are

  • Adequate technical education and experience from EGC systems
  • Experience from Wärtsilä parts and/or field service business, understanding the processes.
  • Customer service mindset with strong can-do attitude.
  • Commercial: Eager to grow the business, close the deals – still securing required profit margins.
  • Systematic and organised approach to work.
  • Understanding the nature of transactional parts and service business and importance of correct data.

 

 

In this role, your success will be measured by

  • Sales and Sales margins of Parts and Field services
  • Response time
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Profitability for the Life-cycle Services in the business unit
