Senior Service Technician, 4 Stroke

We are now looking for a Senior Service Technician (4 Stroke) to join our Field Service of Marine team around the world working for a better future, and the preferred location of the position is in Asunción, Paraguay.

 

Main Responsibilities: 
•    Be available to provide requested services

•    Identify the cause of possible damage to equipment through inspection and analysis and eliminate it to ensure its operation.
•    Perform maintenance, routine repairs on damaged or malfunctioning equipment through corrective and preventive maintenance or replacement.
•    Execute work according to the guidelines in manuals, bulletins and internal procedures.
•   Operate electrical, pneumatic and mechanical tools (drills, hammers, grinders, multipliers, torque wrenches, welders, lifting equipment) to perform the necessary maintenance.
•    Operate tools (Alignment, Vibration Analysis, Boroscopy, Hydraulic Tightening) in accordance with manuals, bulletins and procedures.
•    Operate mechanical maintenance equipment such as lathes, blowtorches, ovens to perform maintenance.
•    Move loads and lift them using appropriate equipment in accordance with current standards. 
•    Handling of supplies applicable to maintenance in accordance with health, environmental and safety rules, with manuals, bulletins and internal procedures.
•    Assisting the supervisor in preparing and organizing service services (scope of work: tools, material needed to perform maintenance, service schedule).

•    Monitoring outsourced professionals
•    Prepare reports and technical reports to monitor activities for the client, aiming to keep them informed about the service performed.
•    Ensure the tools and equipment under his responsibility, as well as cleaning, organizing and hygiene the areas involved in the process
•    Keeping all training and documents required for the position in the training matrix up to date.
•    Keeping personal documents and regulatory training required for the performance of the role up to date.

 

Requirements: 
•    Complete Technical Course (Mechanics, Automation, Naval or others authorized by current legislation).
•    Engineering degree in progress or completed is a plus
•    Mechanical Metrology

•    Electric and Automation (Basic)
•    Knowledge of installation, operation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
•    Knowledge of specific repairs and preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
•    Basic knowledge in Electric and Automation (will be a plus)
•    Knowledge of basic computing (Microsoft Office) and digital tools
•    Knowledge of procedures and guidelines on Quality, Environment and Occupational Safety
