Workshop Technician

Main Responsibilities:

Maintenance, repair and overhauling jobs on engines & engine components in the workshop using workshop machines and tools
Maintenance of workshop machinery and equipment
Overhaul of fuel injection components
Overhaul of turbochargers
In-situ machining
Maintain a clean workshop environment
Inspection, testing & measuring of engine components
Commitment to OH&S, Environmental & Quality and actively participate in Wartsila initiatives.
Complete inspection, test and service reports

- In-situ machine tool use
- Measuring equipment use
- Computer skills
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Accurate record keeping and report writing

 

Education:
- Mechanical trade certificate or equivalent
