Bearing Centre Supervisor

We are now looking for a Bearing Centre Supervisor to join our Bearing Centre team working on industrial bearings. The position is permanent. The preferred location for the position is in Porriño, Spain.

 

What will you be doing?

In this position, your work will include support the bearing centre manager in all his daily duties. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from the bearing centre manager and the departments involved on the project.

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have understanding in white metal bearings technology and experience from working with power generation industry. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from quality documentation and procedures and project managing experience. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to be a proactive, job oriented and team worker.

 

As bearing centre supervisor, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Supervise the scope of work and follow material flow at site
  • Ensure that planned works are executed according to the plan
  • Proactively identify constraints for planned works and analyse root causes
  • Maintain good relations at site
  • Maintain good reporting practices
  • Coordinate construction and installation works with customer
  • Supervise that FAT inspections and test procedures are followed
  • Instruct customer to use accepted test and inspection methods and proper test equipment
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible and fulfil customer
    requirements
  • Support other departments and share information
  • Demonstrate QEHS commitment and minimize risks

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Knowledge of the industrial industry and in particular white metal
  • Computer literate with competent knowledge of MS Office
  • Effective communication skills and delivering projects remotely using virtual meeting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Be fluent in Spanish and English language both verbal and written

 

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
