Full-stack Software Developer

A safer, low-carbon shipping industry is underpinned by data sharing. We at Wärtsilä Voyage are creating the digital infrastructure needed to enable high-performing maritime logistics – for the safe movement of goods and people. Through our world-leading Smart Marine portfolio, we support our customers in their efforts to ensure secure, highly energy-efficient and cost-effective marine operations.

Wärtsilä is on a mission to enable sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services. As we change course towards a cleaner, smarter maritime future, we’re looking for top talent to join our team. Are you ready to join the Voyage?

We are now looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our forward-looking team. Based ideally in Helsinki, Finland or Belgrade, Serbia.

We are looking for experienced, independent C# .Net + Angular Full Stack developers to work on our Maritime related product. This work involves extending and enhancing our existing applications for managing operations and ship traffic in port areas. Our software stack is very modern and we are constantly looking for ways to improve it - so you have a chance to influence how things are done and you will also enjoy feedback from the customer.

Please note that there might be occasional context switching between projects and shared tasks with other developers in the Wärtsilä organization. We are looking for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable with this level of flexibility and adaptability. The developers will of course have support from rest of the organization but we seek developers who possess a certain level of independence and have a basic understanding of Azure DevOps and Azure environments. Project management, UX development, and QA will be provided by Wärtsilä, allowing you to focus on your core development tasks. The projects are conducted in an agile environment, incorporating feedback from customers and stakeholders throughout the development process. We value collaboration, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Required Skills:

  • C# .Net 6, Visual Studio 2022
  • Angular 15

Preferred skills:

  • Restful services, SignalR, WebSockets
  • .NET Core, ASP.NET Core
