Middle/Senior Software Development Engineer (Full-Stack, C++/Qt)

We are now looking for a Middle/Senior Software Development Engineer with strong skills in C++ and Qt to join Navigation RT. Our teams work on Navigation, Radar and Planning software for the maritime industry. This position is permanent and possible locations are Belgrade, Serbia; Helsinki, Finland or Hamburg, Germany

What you will be doing?

Your work includes development of the Navigation software, which is used both onboard the vessels and as a part of navigation training center. We would like you to have a focus on the UI development. You will interact with Product Owner, UX Designer and system analysts, with other developers, architect and testing engineers.

 

As a Software Development Engineer (Full Stack, C++/Qt), your work will focus on these responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain maritime navigation software using C++ and Qt frameworks

· Creating unit tests

· Design of the software components

· Together with the Product Owner and UX Designer elaborate the solutions, which are easy to implement and provide excellent customer experience at the same time

· Ensure high code quality, participate in the Code Review

· Participate in the Agile activities

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

· Good or excellent knowledge of the C++ programming language

· Excellent knowledge of the Qt library

· Technical and communication English

· Good communication skills

 

Will be a plus:

· Experience with maritime navigation will be an advantage

· Knowledge of UX/UI design principles

· Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
