Senior\Middle Software development engineer C++ TechSim

Team of Wartsila marine engineering simulator is looking for C++ developer. You can become part of a team which works on a market leader product (45% market share) that imitates marine engineering functionality for vessels.

This is a permanent role, the location is Belgrade, Serbia

 

Education:

  • Physics faculty of a university
  • Physics and mechanics faculty of Polytechnics university
  • Engineering and physics faculty of a university

Responsibilities:

  • Development of components and services for a marine engineering simulator
  • Provide guidance on project configuration/structure.
  • Mentor and foster the professional development of a small team while also being a significant individual contributor
  • Team development
  • Development in C++, C#
  • Code review
  • Development under Windows

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development 3-5 years or more
  • Excellent C++ architecture, programming, optimization
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Proficient in any source control, debuggers, profilers and other software development tools
  • Team leading and problem solver skills

Will be a plus:

  • Knowledge of COM/ATL
  • Knowledge of C#
  • Knowledge of Qt
  • Knowledge of computational geometry algorithms
  • Experience in distributed system design
