Technical writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer to work in our team.

Wärtsilä Voyage Belgrade as a part of Wartsila Marine Power is a high-tech, modern development centre, which has dozens of unique specialists.

  • fleet monitoring and management

This is a permanent role, the location is in Belgrade, Serbia.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Creating a technical documentation for products (user manuals, installation guides etc.).

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Experience of technical documentation creation, preferably 3+ years
  • Knowledge and skills of working with MadCap Flare. We use this single-source tool for creating and publishing the most commonly used and frequently updated documents
  • Fluent English
  • Good communication skills
  • Effective communication with team members in order to get information about new features
  • Ability to understand and accurately translate the obtained technical information into a sequence of user actions
  • Result-oriented and customer-oriented way of working
  • Engineering education will be a valuable advantage
  • Knowledge of the maritime domain will be a significant asset
