Plant Technician Mechanical

Job Purpose

 Executes operational tasks within a plant, ensuring smooth operation of the plant.

Key Accountabilities

• Operates the plant according to company policies, procedures and operation profile/plan, executing operational tasks following established procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Assists in start-up, shut-down and normal operations of the power plant systems. Optimizes and adjusts processes, flows, settings and other customer plant performance related features based on
• guidance from technicians and supervisors.
• Maintains tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and available for use. Utilizes all tools, equipment, and accessories in such a manner so as to maximize useful
• operating life.
• Monitors and reports on the status of tasks and activities, ensuring timely completion. Completes and maintains all logs and running records clearly and concisely according to the stipulated guidelines.
• Identifies and resolves routine problems within the scope of work, escalating complex issues to higher levels. Takes corrective action during system operational disturbances. Performs
• emergency procedures to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety deficiencies.
• Supports continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to current work methods and participating in implementing new practices.
• Assists in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant by ensuring adherence to guidelines and processes. Responsible for maintaining the plant in a clean and safe condition at all times.
• Collaborates with team members and provides assistance to ensure timely completion of tasks and activities.
