Wartsila Operations Guyana Inc. is seeking a Storekeeper to join our Wartsila Skeldon team. This position is full time, and the ideal candidate must be able to manages the administrative tasks within the warehouse to support its operations, ensuring the reliability of inventory data and directly affecting warehouse accuracy and operational integrity.

Role Summary/Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Storekeeper to manages the administrative aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock records, documentation and integrity of warehouse operations.
Essential Responsibilities
• Monitors inventory levels, conducting systematic stock counts and reporting findings for operational accuracy.
• Executes a range of administrative tasks related to the operations of the warehouse.
• Oversees inventory adjustments, resolving discrepancies between inventory data and physical stock to maintain accurate records.
• Executes authorized system corrections, ensuring data consistency across warehouse management systems.
• Collaborates with logistics operators to align physical stock handling with system data.
• Develops and implements administrative protocols for inventory management, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations. Qualification/Requirements
• Proficient in warehouse administration and inventory tracking. At least 2 – 3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control or record keeping.
• Streamlines administrative processes to support warehouse efficiency.
• Teamwork and Leadership: Collaborates with logistics operators to align the operations with administrative processes and requirements and to implement good inventory practices.
• Communication and Networking: Communicates effectively with warehouse teams and management, ensuring transparency and understanding of inventory management and administrative processes.
• The candidate must be able to embrace the fast and dynamic environment of a growth stage company, comfortable with adjusting quickly to changing priorities.
• Positive work attitude and good team player.
• Must be organized and punctual.
• Willing to work after working hour or during non-working days.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to start immediate / short notice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
