Field Service Engineer Electrical & Automation

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Field Service Engineer Electrical & Automation to join our skilled team in Hungary.
As Field Service Engineer Electrical & Automation your work will focus on these main responsibilities: 


  • Executing and supervising of electrical planned maintenances and repair jobs on wide range of equipments
  • Executing and coordinating of troubleshooting electrical problems
  • Design and commissioning of modifications and extensions of electrical systems
  • Preparing service reports (in Hungarian and in English language)
  • Providing assistance and advice to colleges in case of electrical related issues
  • Keeping the electrical knowledge of the colleges on the desired level, develop if necessary
  • Keeping contact and communicate with persons from technical service abroad
  • Participation in mechanical jobs in case it is necessary
  • Fulfil tasks given by the FS Team Leader

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • 3+ years experience in working with E&A repair/maintenance
  • Native Hungarian
  • University degree
  • Communication level English
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Readiness to travel minimum 30-50 days a year

We will be amazed if you also have some of the following optional experience:

  • Mechanical technical experience on Wartsila Power Plants or similar application
  • Mechanical officer on Ships with Wartsila engines or similar application
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with pre commissioning and commissioning of medium bore diesel engines
