HR Manager Hungary/Romania

We are now looking for a HR Manager to join our dynamic and skilled team in Hungary for a locally independent position, but also working together with the Regional HR team. The position is temporary until January 2024. The preferred location for the position is in Budapest and its agglomeration

In this position you will be the first point of HR contact for local colleagues mainly from the service engineering field.

 

Your work will focus on these main responsibilities:

 

  • Employee counseling – general and salary related inquiries, employment certificates, insurances, etc.
  • Support, advise and coach Managing Director and local Line Managers to drive their team’s performance
  • Participate in local decision making as part of the Local Management Team and COVID Incident Management Team
  • Cooperate with local Union representatives, supporting possible negotiations
  • Cooperate with international HR teams like People Support Hub, Business HR, Country Managers
  • Follow-up on changes of local law and regulation, including GDPR etc. Understanding and implementation the local employment laws with all related documentation (incl. contacting, notifications etc.)
  • Support restructuring, organizational changes
  • Increase employee engagement, wellbeing. Local employer branding – job fairs, other project works
  • Payroll input preparation and partner coordination, calculation check, holiday tracking
  • Participate in Field Service recruitments – partner coordination, interviewing, Line Manager support
  • Organize local trainings
  • Ensure local information sharing / internal communication
  • Maintain, update and communicate HR handbook and other local policies
  • Reporting

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Min. 3-5 years of experience as HR Generalist or HRBP at a multinational company, including also payroll preparation activities
  • University degree from HR, good knowledge of the Hungarian labor law
  • Professional English and native Hungarian language knowledge
  • Strong capability to work individually
  • Comfortably using MS Office applications, Successfactors is an advantage
  • Availability for company location at Budaörs
