We are now looking for a Service Engineer Mechanical to join our team working for a more sustainable future.
The location for this position is in Budaörs, Hungary.
As a Service Engineer Mechanical, your work will focus on those responsibilities:
- Executing planned maintenances and repairing jobs on Wärtsilä OEM engines and its auxiliaries according to Wärtsilä instructions.
- Performing maintenance and repair jobs in relation to other products of Wärtsilä corporation.
- Use and maintain shop and field tools in accordance with good mechanical-work practices.
- Maintain the quality and efficiency of mechanical work performed (as measured by warranty costs), in accordance with manufacturers specifications and ISO procedures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with job performance & through positive interactions with customers.
- Fulfil tasks given by the Field Service Team Leader.
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Previous experience in a related field along with proven experience in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Technical experience in marine engineering with practical problem-solving skills.
- A safety-first mind-set.
- Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during work execution.
- Experience of working with electrical systems would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
- Willing to travel approximately 80% of the time.
- Fluent in English and Hungarian, both written and verbal.
