Service Engineer

We are looking for a

Service Engineer

with a main responsibility in Servicing Wartsila Gas Engines and its auxiliaries. The preferred location for this position is Budaörs, Hungary but applicants from western part of Hungary near Győr, Tatabánya and Szombathely also are welcome.
  

Your role and responsibilities  

As a Service Engineer your work will include executing planned maintenances and repairing jobs on Wärtsilä OEM engines and its auxiliaries according to Wärtsilä instructions. Performing maintenance and unplanned repair jobs in relation to other products of Wärtsilä corporation both individually and in a team. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.

You’ll be working as a part of our energetic and supportive Field Service Team with diverse expertise.

Requirements for the position

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent fiel
• Hands on experience in servicing diesel/gas engines along with proven experience
• Willingness to travel (approximately 80% of the time abroad and domestically)
• Fluent in English and Hungarian, both written and verbal
