We are looking for a Service Technician E&A to join our Service Team in Hungary. The preferred location for this position is in Budapest (and nearby), Hungary.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Service Technician E&A your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Executing of planned electrical maintenances and repair jobs on wide range of equipment’s (Low voltage, DC).
- Troubleshooting of electrical problems on engines and related electrical auxiliary systems.
- Preparing short service reports.
- Participation in mechanical jobs in case it is necessary.
- Fulfil tasks given by the FS Team Leader or Superintendent Engineer.
- Participation in installation work on external sites.
Requirements for the position
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in working with Electrical and Automation repair/maintenance environment.
- Experience with frequency converters, measuring systems, electrical motors (PT100, thermocouple, Syncron/asynchronous motor).
- Different measuring device knowledge (Multimeter, Isolation tester).
- Familiar with electrical standards, ensuring manufacturer quality.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Must be able to understand electrical diagrams and schematics (one-line, logical).
- Ability to use wide range of measurement equipment.
- Good level of Hungarian language.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Readiness to travel domestic and abroad.
- Availability for stand-by service.
- Good communicative English skills.
As an ideal candidate you might also have…
- Electrical and Mechanical technical experience on Power Plants or similar gas/marine engines application.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with pre commissioning and commissioning of medium bore diesel engines.
- PLC skills.
- High voltage electric knowledge.
- Generator and protection device experience.
- Basic English communications skill is nice to have.
