Field Service Coordinator, 2-Stroke

We are looking for a Field Service Coordinator, 2-Stroke. This opportunity is permanent, and its location is Busan, Republic of Korea.

 

What will you be doing:
As Field Service Coordinator, 2-Strokeyour work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Successful coordination relating to 2-Stroke field service jobs.

  • Closely cooperating with Resources Managers for assigning engineers to jobs.

  • Acting as the key contact person for the customer during the work order, interacting with relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Liaising with customers to coordinate detailed schedules, parts, tools, authorizations, and permits, and to formalize service bookings.

  • Taking responsibility for briefing and debriefing the engineers before and after the jobs.

  • Raising Technical Requests when applicable.

  • Implementing service follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction and obtaining feedback, maintaining service KPIs.

  • Continuously staying up to date with company policies and guidelines.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • BSc in Maritime Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field of Field Service coordination

  • Technical understanding or background and general knowledge of 2-Stroke Engines

  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate with external/internal stakeholders

  • Fluent in Korean, both spoken and written

  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and flexible mindset

  • Strong reporting and analytical skills

  • Proactive, curious, and solution-driven attitude with a cooperative initiative

  • Ability to prioritize workload with the support of a line manager

  • Proficiency in MS Office - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

  • Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis

  • Experience in Project Management, coordination, or similar roles would be a plus
