Job Title: Service Engineer, 4-Stroke Small Bore

We are now looking for a Service Engineer to join 4-Stroke Small Bore team. This a permanent opportunity and its preferred location is Busan, Korea. 

 

What will you be doing:
As Service Engineer, 4-Stroke Small Bore, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Carry out 4-stroke engine trouble shooting, routine maintenance & components overhauling.
  • Perform commissioning, sea trial and overhaul inspection for 4-stroke engine projects.
  • Execute warranty, modification, and design upgrade job for new building projects.
  • Perform commissioning of 4-stroke engines automation.
  • Perform operation & maintenance supports for marine business and power plant. 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • BSc in Mechanical, Marine, Electricity & Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Min. 2 years’ work experience of similar task
  • Suitable real work knowledge and experiences related to 4stroke engine maintenance, troubleshooting of mechanical/automation system and control of various marine auxiliaries, e.g. power distribution, motor control, process sensors & instrumentation, pumps & fans and other process system componentry
  • Ability to understand, use and correct electrical automation schematics & drawings and competent level of related documentation
  • Ability to work on various 4-stroke engines with engineer background
  • Knowledge of machinery, automation system and field service works in marine industry
  • Experience in working in international environment and willingness to travel
  • Good command of English, written and verbal
  • Excellent command of Korean, written and verbal
  • A person of Korean National Merit is preferred.
