Service Engineer, Field Service Automation

We are looking for Service Engineer, FS Automation to join our team. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Busan, Korea.
 

About the Position:
As Service Engineer, FS Automation, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Perform field service activities according to the work schedule on marine automation system.
  • Perform engineering/technical support activities according to the work schedule on marine automation system.
  • Perform troubleshooting with spare parts (if necessary) on marine automation system.
  • Perform the related commissioning activities and sea trial onboard as system commissioning engineer.
  • Interact with customers during the work execution (e.g. conducting introduction meeting).
  • Report internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Create the Service Work Reports.
  • Other activities agreed with line manager.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • BSc. in Electrical & Electronical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and automation schematics/drawings/logics
  • Willingness to travel around the world for Field Service jobs.
  • Good command of English, written and verbal
  • Native command of Korean, written and verbal
  • Relevant experience in this field is a plus. ((This role is open to fresh graduate candidates as well.)
  • Basic knowledge of Software is a plus.
  • A person of Korean National Merit is preferred.
