Wärtsilä Marine Power is looking for competent Service Engineer, Propulsion and E & A. This is a permanent position based in Eomgung, Busan, Republic of Korea.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out trouble-shooting, routine maintenance, inspection, overhaul and repair for Propulsion and EPMS(Electric & Power Management System) Product and and Shaft Generator Product
  • Executing warranty, commissioning work & supervision of Field Service.
  • Preparing service work reports
  • System upgrade for Wärtsilä Propulsion System
  • Technical communications with Wärtsilä field service stakeholders and customers

 

We hope you to have:

  • BSc in Mechanical, Marine, Electric & Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
  • Ability to work on engines with field service & marine engineer background.
  • Knowledge of machinery/field service work experience
  • More than 3 years' experience of similar task
  • Good command of English, written and verbal
  • Excellent command of Korean, written and verbal
  • Ability to understand, use and correct electrical and automation schematics and drawings, and related component level documentation would be a plus.
  • Suitable real-world knowledge and experience related to control system specification and design, PLC programming and diagnostics, marine power distribution, motor control, process sensors and instrumentation, valves, pumps, fans and other process system componentry would be a plus.
