Workshop Service Engineer, FS Workshop

Wärtsilä is looking for a competent Service Engineer in Field Service Workshops. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Mieum, Busan, Korea.

 

About the Position

What will you be doing:

As Service Engineer, FS Workshop, your work will focus on these responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate workshop operative daily activities and team
  • Perform workshop service activities according to the work plan
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies in workshops
  • Interact with customers during the work execution
  • Perform internal and external progress status of assigned work
  • Create the Service Work report
  • Work in accordance with business as well as Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines
  • Ensure that the required documentations are created to relevant stakeholders
  • Plan short-term capacity and maintenance of the machines and tools within responsibility area
     

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bsc. in Mechanical, Marine, Mechatronics Engineering
  • Min. 2 years of experiences in workshop work experience or a similar task
  • Mechanical technical experience in Marine engines or similar application
  • Knowledge of 2 & 4-Stroke engines
  • Ability to execute the planned maintenances and repairing jobs on Wärtsilä OEM equipment is an advantage
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Team work
  • Flexibility / Motivated to learn and grow professionally
  • Good command of English, written and verbal
  • Excellent command of Korean, written and verbal
