Auxiliary Operator

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
•    Starts, synchronizes, loads and shutdowns the power plant and all related equipment (engine and auxiliaries) according to manufacturer’s Standard Operating Procedures.
•    Monitors and maintains standard operating parameters of the whole plant systems and all related equipment (engine and auxiliaries).
•    Informs the Control Room Operator on all activities to be done and get clearance if necessary.
•    Monitors inventory levels of fuel, lube oil and water.
•    Responsible for receiving and unloading of fuel oil and lube oil.
•    Responsible for the disposal of sludge and use oil.
•    Records all activities done in his shift and do proper turn-over.
•    Implements HSE programs and proper housekeeping.
•    Reports all abnormalities found during his shift and do necessary correction if possible.
 
What do we expect from you?
A.    Education:

  • Preferably Engineering Graduate or equivalent.

 

B.    Experience:

  • No experience needed for Engineers, but non-engineers should have at least 1-year experience in Diesel Power Plants operations and maintenance

 

C.    General Skills:

  • Computer Literate
  • Good in communication and reporting

 

D.    Professional Skills;

  • Knows welding works is an advantage
  • Knows how to understand manuals, flow charts, and standard operating procedures
