We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused problem solver to join our fast-paced and exciting Team. We are a SMART technology company that empowers our people to collaborate and shape our markets so that we can have a sustainable impact on society. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer, Marine Business Americas who will be handling the Field Service attendances of new and existing installations.

WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT

You will be part of a highly skilled and motivated team of Marine Business professionals who are able to independently work and take decisions under pressure in combination with analytical/critical thinking and excellent knowledge about Wartsila's products and installations. We are looking for a safety & quality-minded, dynamic, flexible, and detail-oriented high performer to join our fast-paced and exciting Team. We are a SMART technology company that empowers our people to collaborate and shape our markets so that we can have a sustainable impact on society.

-    Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan
-    Perform advanced mechanical as well as electronic & automation and system integration related troubleshooting on 4-stoke engines and ancillary equipment
-    Perform technical advisory for repair activities executed on customers responsibility
-    Commissioning of service products
-    On side team leading and managing of the assigned team and related activities during the work execution
-    Interact with customers during the work execution
-    Interacting with FS back office and TS during work execution 
-    Perform internal and external progress status up-dates of the assigned work
-    Create the Service Work Reports
-    Proactively consulting, advising, and promoting available Wartsila solutions and products to customer
