We are seeking a Resource Planner for our Energy Business Service team who will be planning our resources in Region North.

Position Description

As a Resource Planner you will work closely with a the resource coordinator, the operations team and a dedicated team of field service engineers at a global level to make sure we deliver the engineers with the right competences for the job at the right place and the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Book resource requests for the Field Service work orders received using the assigned tools (Planning Board)
  • Ensure the best use and availability of the Field Service personnel encompassing coordination of Visa’s, medicals, travel etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal details as appropriate
  • Assisting the Operations Coordinator with regular feedback from executed jobs.
  • Support booking the training needs for the resources
  • Maintain relevant Field Service resources planning tool
  • Support maintaining all information required in the Professional Skills Management tool
  • Maintain an even utilization of personnel
  • Interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Promote a close liaison with other departments (Warranty Service, Contract Management, Sales, Etc.) to ensure best possible delivery of service to the customer
  • To comply with the company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE TO LAND THIS JOB

  • Previous field service experience as a planner is helpful
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Problem solver mind-set
  • Systematic and organized approach to work
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral
  • Fluent in MS Office environment, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Relationship building and team player approach with good communication and administrative skills.
  • Attention to details and awareness of how they fit into the bigger business picture
