We are looking for a Technical Advisor, to join our dynamic, safety-minded, and fast-paced Technical Team.

What will you be doing?

 

As a Technical Advisor, you will work providing support to Customer´s operation and maintenance to achieve uninterrupted operations of the plant; prepare reports, plans and budgets as agreed with Agreement Manager in a weekly/monthly basis and in case of failure of Wärtsilä supplied equipment, in a consultative manner assist customer in troubleshooting and repairing.

As a Technical Advisor, you will focus on these responsibilities:

 

- Identify together with Customer and actively seek improvement or potential risk areas regarding operational reliability and availability.

- Report to the Agreement Manager if Customer is neglecting the QEHS policy, refuses or delays scheduled maintenance and/or improvements for operational reliability and availability.

- Support customer´s operation and maintenance to achieve uninterrupted operations of the plant.

- Keep internal logbooks up to date, record engines' and auxiliaries' running parameters, update fluid analysis data, running, standby, planned and unplanned maintenance hours in the CM data base monthly.

- Support Customer in a consultative manner in planning, organizing and executing all planned and unplanned maintenance of the Plant.

- Support Customer in a consultative manner in performing maintenance of all Wärtsilä supplied equipment using approved working methods and proper tools.

- Prepare reports, plans and budgets as agreed with Agreement Manager in weekly/monthly basis.

- In case of failure of Wärtsilä supplied equipment, in a consultative manner assist Customer in troubleshooting and repairing.

- Support and Train Customer's personnel in issuing warranty claims on scope of supply of Wärtsilä as agreed with the Lead Warranty Manager.

- Support Expertise Centers regarding preventive maintenance, Wärtsilä Technical Services, or other specified functions regarding Root Cause Analyses (RCA).

- Together with Wärtsilä network companies (local/central Customer Assistance resource, Agreement Manager, and dedicated Expertise Centre), Decide how to solve a claim. Information about solved claims to be reported weekly/monthly basis.

- Minimum once per month, keep a claim status report meeting with Customer, unless more frequent meetings are required by the contract.

- Communicate effectively with the plant team relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance. - Support on contracts mobilization phase, assuming temporary roles, establishing O&M procedures and routines and training plant personnel
