We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic and energetic Business Development team.

What will you be doing

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will lead financial analysing and modelling, assist in selling projects, educate/mentor young talents.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will focus on these responsibilities:

• Continuous monitoring of revenue & cost estimates and perform revisions as required
• Financial modeling
• Monthly financial analyticals
• Month-end closing and reporting
• monthly reports and reconciliations
• Monitor and improve estimates accuracy
• Creation of reports and dashboards for data analysis and reporting
• Build, organize, manage, compile data, and perform internal audits of assigned installations to ensure quality, best practice and lessons learned are implemented
• Use existing tools and develop new methods to deliver standard and/or ad hoc reporting to support business reviews, and planning.
• Prepare annual budget- target setting Identify financial risks and opportunities within the assigned installations
• Monitor contract structure and guide Team to adhere to the structure as necessary
• Partner with other functions outside of Business Control as necessary
• Liaise with Brand Team of assigned installations to obtain necessary data for estimates accuracy-KPIs 
• Challenge Contract Managers and Brands to be able to deliver expected sales and profitability
• Continuous focus on cost saving initiatives
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Support Controller in financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting
• Co-operate with Management Team to successfully deliver expected sales and profitability

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• 5+ years' Accounting/Finance experience
• Proven experience in Marine Contracts is a plus!
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to details and follow-through
• Target and result oriented "doer"
• Big picture thinking
• Self-starter who perseveres to reach goals, even when faced with challenge
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Excellent integrity and time management skills
• The ability to independently arrive at solution with limited direction, e.g. a self-starter
• The commitment to deliver the results on tight timelines
• Good understanding of Wärtsilä's processes and procedures
• Knowledge of SAP, Estimo, QlikView, QlikSense, Power BI and other MS Office Tools
