Tool Coordinator - Field Service
The Wärtsilä Energy Business, North Region team has a vacancy for a Tool Coordinator - Field Service
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a detailed inventory of tools and equipment
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of the equipment & tools (in alignment with company WoW)
- Maintain and manage tool calibration program for Field Service specialized tools
- Work closely with appropriate stakeholders to understand their tool requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of new tools and/or the repair of existing ones
- Liaise with Field Service Operations in identifying needed tools based on scope and Wartsila manuals
- Coordinate and manage international shipping & receiving request
- Support O&M customer sites and work with the local team on workshop process improvements and implementation
- Support and maintain facility functions in accordance with company QEHS requirements and ISO standards
Desired Education
- Associate’s degree or High School Diploma (considering experience)
Desired Skills and Experience
The applicant should have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience:
- Coordinating/managing tool room processes
- Warehouse operations
- Shipping hazardous materials (international)
- Facility management functions
- Working with Safety & Quality standards
- Must be fluent Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- MS Excel, MS Power Point MS Word, SAP and Salesforce knowledge
- Proficiency in both english and spanish languages
Additional Skills
- Availability to travel to the US and throughout the Caribbean
- Travel up 25% of the year
- Forklift operator
- Good computer skills
- Coaching skills
