Project Manager

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Earning customer satisfaction through close co-operation and dialogue with the customer and on-time deliveries.
  • Maintain our industry reputation by utilizing and continued development of our highly skilled co-workers, and ensuring a motivated and high performance project team.
  • Project execution of assigned contracts within the Product Line according to the company methods, policies and routines.

 

You Will

  • Follow up communication between yard and the project offices
  • Be part of the project teams for the individual projects, reporting to project PM
  • Follow up drawings issued by Yard and clarify technical issues
  • Coordinate comments from customer before issuing to project team
  • Manage punch lists from customer
  • Longer term ambition: take over as PM in final stage of the projects
  • Be Involved from the start of the project until end of delivery
  • Plan the follow up of local suppliers based on project needs
  • Train of eventual new local employees
  • Be Point of contact for customers with aim to reduce workload for Project PMs and to improve customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience as Project Manager or similar roles with international customers and/or suppliers.
  • Minimum 10 year industry experience from marine, offshore or process industry.
  • Expert experience from shipyard gas carrier construction, LPG, LEG or LNG.
  • Competence and knowledge of applicable rules and regulations such as IGC Code, IGF Code, and Class rules for Gas carriers
  • Higher technical education, bachelor- or master degree within marine, mechanical or process technology.
  • Business mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
