Coordinator, Parts Coordination Management

Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services (WGLS) manages the entire logistics chain of Wärtsilä OEM parts, from order intake to customer delivery. To accomplish this, the team is built with three delivery functions; Parts Coordination Management (PCM), Parts Supply (PS) and Parts Delivery (PD).

Parts Coordination Management is a global organization working with both internal and external customers to support Parts offers, Order confirmations, as well as, providing critical information throughout this process to multiple stakeholders.
 

We are looking for a coordinator in our Parts Coordination Management (PCM) team with location in Shanghai. Parts Coordination Management (PCM) takes care of handling of the Spare Part quotations and orders for the customers in China and Hong Kong. This position is permanent and its location is Tangzhen, Shanghai.

 

In this position, you will be mainly responsible for:

  • Acting as customer contact for spare parts quotations, orders, deliveries and non-conformities.
  • Acting as a link between customer and the various departments involved in the spare parts delivery process.
  • Handling and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures, guidelines and local requirements.
  • Ensuring highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
  • Actively following up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to sales teams.
  • Actively following up the order book with the sales team.
  • Proactively proposing ideas to speed up deliveries.
  • Maintaining and developing knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs.
  • Following up and communicate parts deliveries information accordingly in a timely manner to customers.
  • Liaising with Sales about the content and terms of the offerings.
  • Maintaining and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs.
  • Coordinating and prioritizing daily activities and urgent requests with relevant colleagues in order to find  satisfactory solutions.
  • Off hour support for spare parts (24/7 service)

 

You hope you have:

  • M. Sc. Or B.Sc degree (technical or commercial)
  • 1~2 year's experience in working in international environment is seen as beneficial
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of any of the local languages is seen as beneficial
  • Strong Communication and Customer service skills
  • Teamwork skills and Cultural knowledge
  • Motivated to learn and grow professionally
  • Workplace ICT equipment and applications;
  • SAP knowledge preferable
  • Logistics and Inco-terms understanding
