Senior Accountant

Financial Statutory Accounting operations and performance related to local finance processes, internal financial reporting and external financial statutory reporting. 
High standard financial company reporting on time according to Wartsila Group Directives and Policies, as well as local accounting requirements.



Responsible for on-time, reliable, high quality financial and management reporting internally in compliance with Corporate and International guidelines and local requirements.

•    Proactively prepare and support company level reporting, according to Wärtsilä Corporation accounting manual, guidelines and local accounting requirements. 
•    Prepare and consolidate accountings and period end closing activities on company level in SAP and HFM. 
•    Assist in external auditing, internal auditing and internal control reporting of the company.
•    Prepare financial standard material to the company stakeholders to performance key measures defined by FSAS.
•    Engage ad-hoc special projects and provide recommendations on overall improvements in the general ledger system by researching and assessing standardized work flow procedures and policies.
•    Support and participate in WSSC activities, e.g. account payables, payments, travel and vender master data etc.

Other Responsibilities:
•    Maintain General Ledger accounts in SAP
•    Fixed Assets related co-ordination and monitoring
•    Company liquidity monitoring and planning (short and long term)
•    In charge of FX exposure and hedge transactions; Consolidate WCN FX exposure report
•    Coordinate Insurance program



Professional qualification in Accounting.
5-8 years of working experience in financial accounting and taxation in MNC.
Bachelor's or higher degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA or other professional qualification is preferred
Good understanding of financial processes, internal control and auditing, good analysing skills. 
Good understanding of the following: Statutory Accounting, Local accounting and tax law, Corporate Governance, IFRS, Internal controls, Auditing, Taxation, Reporting & Analysing and SAP, Hyperion
Good interpersonal and team working skills. Positive attitude and pro-active thinking, initiative taking, self-going, fast learner and flexible approach.
Fluent in Chinese and English language.
