Quality Inspector 1

We are looking for a Quality Inspector, located in Suzhou, China.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Directly report to quality supervisor;
  2. Understand the incoming control plan and/or the incoming check instruction, mechnical drawing and check the assigned incoming material according to above documents, record the checking result;
  3. Casting part : Check the casting aspect, painting aspect, porosity, good NDT report, material report( chemical and tensile test), class report, key dimensions, etc  
  4. Forging part/Steel Structure part: Check the part aspect; painting aspect, welding aspect; porosity, good NDT report; material report ( chemical and tensile test), class report, etc
  5. Standard part (Bolt,bearing,etc): Key dimension, MT test for machining bolts;
  6. Chemical material (glue,grease,etc): Check the part number, MSDS report; Expiration date, etc
  7. If the checking result is OK, then identify OK part and release the inspection lot in SAP.
  8. If the checking result  is NOK, identify and block the NOK part. Then open a QE or QV in SAP, description the problem by 5W2H in NCR.
  9. Check the material/component in supplier site in case of can not check in Wartsila.

Advanced Responsibility :

1. Understand English drawing requirements;

2. Understand 8D principle to judge the 8D report from supplier based on 8D method.

3. Continue improve the IQC work effectiveness and efficiency

4. Create and maintain checking instruction;

Development Responsibilities:

1. Originate QE or QV Notification in SAP;

2. Supplier evaluation according to quality performance in incoming inspection.

3. MT test, UT test
