Field Service E&A Trainee

Responsibilities :

• Assist in Electrical & Automation maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection on Wartsila equipment.
• Participate in testing and verification activities following maintenance, overhaul and modernization projects.
• Gain practical experience with engine control systems, UNIC systems, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation and automation interfaces.
• Observe and learn customer-facing service practices and technical communication
• Comply with Wartsila safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and quality standards.
• Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and improvement opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, adaptability, teamwork and a safety-first mindset.
• Continuously work towards becoming an independent Electrical & Automation Service Engineer
