Agreement Maintenance Coordinator

We are looking for an Agreement Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic, fast-paced, Agreements team. The location for this position is Halifax or Vancouver, Canada, but remote working will be considered.

 

What will you be doing

As an Agreement Maintenance Coordinator, you will oversee contracted maintenance – scheduling resources and preparing/communicating with the customer.  The ideal candidate will have Marine business and diesel engine knowledge.

 

As an Agreement Maintenance Coordinator, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate reaction to assigned contractual customer requisitions and service requests.
  • Coordination of Field Service resources for scheduled maintenance, visits, or other unplanned activities.
  • Assist customers to prepare for scheduled maintenance.
  • Communicate the maintenance progress with the customer and internally applies project management skills to manage the jobs.
  • Primary contact to customer and resource on board during job execution by supporting with technical and contractual clarification as needed.
  • Apply technical problem solving during the job, ensuring Wartsila complies with its contractual requirements like avoiding delays and rework.
  • Work together with the contract team and the rest of the organization. Actively updates the contract manager of any important items.
  • Support customers with unscheduled maintenance and provide proper forms to fill out as required.
  • Review and approval the costs and prepare invoices for the coordinated resource activities.
  • Proper record keeping of activities and contractual requirements, like monthly status reports and daily reports.
  • Coordination of above activities in a timely manner and within financial estimates

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Previous experience in the Marine business.
  • Diesel engine knowledge.
  • Engineering degree preferred - Diesel, Mechanical or similar.
  • Focus on achieving results

  • Previous SAP and MS Projects experience is a plus

For applicants that reside in BC, the annual salary wage range is $80,000 CAD - $100,000 CAD. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity.
