The Parts Coordinator is responsible for processing internal and external customers' spare parts requests in a timely and high-quality manner, aligned with customer expectations.

 

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at the Halifax or Vancouver office two days per week.

 

Accountabilities:

Responsible for processing internal and external customer spare parts requests promptly and with high quality, in alignment with customer expectations.

 

Main Responsibilities:

•    Serve as the point of contact for spare parts quotations, orders, deliveries, and non-conformities.
•    Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments involved in the spare parts delivery process.
•    Manage and coordinate quotations and orders in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and local requirements.
•    Ensure the highest standards of quality and responsiveness in handling quotes and orders.
•    Use accurate customer master data and handling instructions when processing quotations and orders.
•    Proactively follow up on the order book in collaboration with the sales team.
•    Coordinate with Sales regarding the content and terms of offers.
•    Communicate delivery updates to customers in a timely and clear manner.
•    Follow up with internal stakeholders on quotations and deliveries as per agreed processes.
•    Provide off-hours support for spare parts when required (24-hour service).
•    Organize and promote order book follow-up meetings with the Sales Team.
•    Share expertise and ensure knowledge transfer within the team; escalate issues as needed.
•    Build and maintain profitable customer relationships by providing feedback and valuable insights.

 

Development Responsibilities
•    Foster strong working relationships with customer counterparts.
•    Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and suggest improvements to ways of working.
•    Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

 

Requirements:

B.Sc. or 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management field

For applicants that reside in BC, the annual salary wage range is $ 65,000 CAD - $ 70,000 CAD.

The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity.
