Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting on equipment families according to customer requirements.
  • Assist in fault finding and suggesting corrective measures.
  • Perform installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning checks and related activities.
  • Guide and supervise the execution of engine repairs and engine overhaul-related jobs.
  • Execution of generators/related auxiliary repair and overhaul-related jobs.
  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance jobs independently.
  • Report of executed works according to Wartsila standards.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wartsila quality, health, safety, and environmental guidelines along with customer requirements.
  • Promote Wartsila products and services.
  • Able to perform operation and maintenance including other related services as per guidelines.
  • Able to provide necessary training to the sub-ordinates as per company policy.

 

Educational Qualification :

  • BSc in Mechanical/Marine Engineering from a reputed university.
  •  07 years of experience in the maintenance of Wartsila engines.

 

 Other desired skills:

  • Experience in maintenance of Wartsila engines
