We are now looking for a
Operational Purchaser
To join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location for the position is Dian D’Alba, Italy.
What you will be doing
Operational Purchaser will be responsible for replenishing all ANCS plants by executing purchase orders, order monitoring, confirmations and rescheduling of the PO's. As a OP, you will be in close contact with other stakeholders from PCM and Services. All requirements will be entered in SAP system by stakeholders.
As Operational Purchaser your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Execute purchase orders, order monitoring, confirmations and rescheduling.
- Monitor and report supplier performance.
- Maintain material data to relevant systems in defined area of responsibility.
- Actively develop the way of working in cooperation with process development.
- Actively develop teamwork in own team and build commitment.
- Coordinate delivery of goods and logistics information with internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Expedite delivery of goods to have them in the right place at the right time at the right cost.
- Maintain logistics data to relevant systems in defined area of responsibility.
- Coach relevant suppliers and/or internal stakeholders.
- Continuously improve operative logistics activities.
- Cooperate with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or similar.
- Experience in purchasing or transportation.
- SAP knowledge.
- Excellent, proven team working skills in a self-steering team.
- MS Office tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Good command in English.
- Active approach to work.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Target and result oriented attitude.
- Service mind set, openness and flexibility, as well as the ability to make things happen.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
