We are now looking for a Project Controller to join our Customer Delivery SE & AMER org. The position is an open-ended contract. The preferred location for the position is in Diano d’Alba, Italy.

In this position, you are accountable for financial controlling and reporting of the project portfolio and supporting project managers and project organizations with project financials, cost follow up of programs, projects and contracts. The person will report to the Manager , Finance & Control.


 
 As project controller your work will focus on these responsibilities:
 
• You support the local management and project managers in proactive analysis of the project portfolio, project estimate, planning and trend analysis of project costs

• Ensure on-time, reliable, high quality project reporting, forecasting and analyses. Monitor and control provisions and accruals. Track main project expenditures.

• Perform monthly closing and reporting activities related to the projects

• Ensure effectiveness of internal controls for projects

• Train project team on status reporting techniques and manage the process.

• Participate in project review meetings. Follow up issues and risks. Ensure risk assessment is reflected in the project cost planning.

• Responsible for follow up on external and internal financial audits.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools

• Accountable for the development of own work area and knowledge sharing

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Finance and Accounting or equivalent commercial education

• Comprehensive knowledge in Project Business/Controlling

• Broad commercial knowledge in Commercial Terms and Conditions in System Contracts

• Solid experience with SAP (PS, CS, SD and FICO module) and MS Office

• You have strong analytical thinking capability and excellent communication skills in English both oral and written.

• Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, achieve results, decisiveness and action orientation. You are independent and show initiative with an entrepreneurial spirit.

• You are customer oriented, pragmatic and enthusiastic

• Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow along the business requirements

 

Requirements:

You easily interact with people from all organisational levels, building bridges and creating connections, and you are used to work in a global organisation.

Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Availability to travel in Italy and abroad is requested.
