We are now looking for a Project Engineer specialized in AUT system.

We are searching for a new rosurce to develop documents and drawings related to New Building and Service Automati on Projects.

He/She has to have understanding in electrical engineering, CAD drawings and system documentation development (good knowledge of Office Package, with particular attention to Excel and Word).

This position includes working with external stakeholders (Fincantieri, Various Ship Owner) and colleagues from Automation Team and Other Departments (Sales, Product, R&D, Project Management, ecc...).

You easily interact with people from all organisational levels, building bridges and creating connections.

The preferred location for the position holder is Diano d'Alba (Italy), with possibility of short trips.

Wartsila APSS Technical office is in charge of handling and manage all electrical aspects of the projects:

• Main Switchboard Shore cubicle set-up
• Cable list and dimensioning, panels and cabinets' electrical drawings
• Dedicated Engineering development (i.e. Electric Load Balance Calculation)
• Factory Acceptance Test 
• Documentation to be sent to the Class for Approval

 
To develop this kind of engineering, a deep knowledge of electrical matter is requested, so an electrical engineering can be the right figure to be in charge of this.

Main Responsabilities:

• Develop Dedicated Automation Documents based on Standard Documentation: 
• Design an Automation Plant System Layout
• Develop an Input/Output List, Study Interconnections between Automation and Third Part Systems
• Develop Cabinet Electrical Drawings,
• Develop Dedicated Documents and Drawings related to WAPSS Products (Traffi c Lights, Level Gauging Sensors, Flooding Monitoring Sensors),
• Interact with customers during work execution,
• Cooperate with colleagues sharing solutions and discussing new proposal,
• Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
