Payroll specialist

For our team in the Netherlands, we are looking for a


Payroll specialist (0,7-0.8 FTE)


What will you be doing?


As Payroll specialist, you work together with a direct colleague to, as strong team, manage three payrolls using ADP payroll software, including all preparations and follow ups with external parties such as the pension funds, branch organization, and government institutions. Together you ensure that our around 900 colleagues get paid the right amount at the right time and that we apply the right withholdings, employer premiums and taxes.

But the role is way more diverse than payroll. You answer first line questions on payroll, social security and fiscal topics from employees and managers and serve as a trusted advisor for the HR team, the management and the finance department. You will be part of the local HR team, as part of a truly international company, working together with colleagues from all around the world.


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:


  • At least 5 years of experience in inhouse payroll handling
  • Graduated at vocational (MBO) level, holding a PDL
  • You are proactive, accurate, service oriented and have a can-do mindset
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Solid understanding of accounting (personnel accruals, journal entries)
  • Solid experience in working with ADP, excel, SAP.
  • Working experience in the Metalektro is a pre
  • Experience in a complex multinational organization is a plus
  • Experience in working with SuccessFactors is a plus
