Senior Service Engineer

Location- Dubai

Experience required- 5 years

Required Educational Qualification - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering or equivalent degree.


What will you be doing:

 

  • Perform Field Service Mechanical activities such as Major Overhauls, Planned Maintenance etc according to the work plan for 4 stroke engines, Auxiliaries and related other equipment's.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on 4 stroke equipment families.
  • Act as system commissioning engineer and may lead the related commissioning activities.
  • Lead and manage assigned team and related activities during the work execution.
  • Interact with customers during the work execution (e.g. conducting introduction meeting, work scheduling etc).
  • Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Create the Service Work Reports and all required documents.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
  • Proactively advice and promote available products and solutions to customers.
  • Have broad knowledge of Wärtsilä equipment families.
  • Job will require extensive travelling to sites onshore and offshore for energy and marine customers jobs.
