Main responsibilities:
 

  • Learn and assist multi-skilled Field Service Engineers on Electrical & Automation jobs of stroke engines, High voltage & Low voltage switchgears, PLC and scada system. electrical & electronics systems.
  • Undertaking 4 Stroke engine field service activities to a high standard3. Follow instructions from the Field Service Engineers and work safely at all times, to ensure safety of staff, customers and equipment.
  • Assist the Field Service Engineers to install and commission marine engines and power plants.
  • Performs a variety of defined activities related to filed service job execution.
  • Follow Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.

Requirements:
 

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Good observation skills and a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel and work in different locations for FS job execution.
  • Experience in Wartsila marine engines and power plants would be advantageous
