Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer in our Agreement Resources team in Saudi Arabia.

 

Your work tasks and responsibilities will include:

-  Coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities to ensure that the equipment, machinery and instruments functions reliably and safely at the plant. Ensure that the facilities, buildings and plant are in good working order.

-  Coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities at the plant and/or assigned team.

-  Perform the Risk Assessment prior to start the work

- Perform maintenance spare parts planning and components ordering with list.

-  Inspect completed work to ensure that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards.

-  Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in own responsibility area.

-   Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools and ensure those are maintained according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.

-  Develop the maintenance working routines at the plant with O&M Manager

-  Prioritize and assign tasks so that assigned team resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

-  Coach and mentor maintenance staff and assist them to diagnose more complex problems with machinery or equipment problems.

-  Train maintenance procedures and standards for the new workers, perform the Fire Mock Drill and arrange training on safety flash

-  Read Technical bulletin & equipment catalogue to enhance the knowledge.

-  Ensure healthiness of firefighting and black start system

-  Prepare the various maintenance reports and ensures follow up of all actions.

-  Ensure recording, monitoring and reporting of engine / auxiliary parameters and their deviations.

-  Identify and actively seek to improve maintenance reliability and plant availability.

-  Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures as well as assigned maintenance plan.

 

As an ideal candidate, you will have following qualifications:

 A. Education:

  •  B.Sc. degree in Electrical/Power engineering or Equivalent.

 B. Experience:

  • Several years of relevant working experience on Wärtsilä engines or similar 4-stroke.

C. Other Skills:

  • Having 50DF Engine knowledge.
  • Familiar with UNIC system & PLC system
  • Ability to read & understand Electrical control circuit drawing.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Managing schedule / unscheduled maintenance activity.
  • Effective spares planning knowledge.
  • Preparing & maintaining maintenance report.
  • Good knowledge of safety & maintaining SOP at site.
  • Technical Trainings skills
