We are now looking for a
Design Engineer (electrical) (m/f/d)
to join our Team in Elmenhorst, Germany.
As Design Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Creation of electric detail drawings.
- Implementation of customer specifications.
- Creation of mechanical views for the products.
- Clarification of technical interfaces with customers and subcontractors.
- Order the technically complicated material in cooperation with the project purchasing.
- Ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Leading of technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
- Participation in the creation of test regulations.
- Accompany functional tests and hand overs.
- Support internal and external documentation requirements.
- Compliance with deadlines and budgets.
- Report status and problems of project related issues to team or line manager in time.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Completed training as a state-certified electric engineering technician or certified Bachelor or Master electrician or equivalent.
- Knowledge in the design and construction of electrical power distribution systems appropriate to the position
- Professional experience with common design tools, e.g. EPLAN P8 or equivalent
- Personal initiative as well as independent and team-oriented working methods
- Positive communication behaviour
- Good technical knowledge in the application of classification requirements and industrial standards are needed
- MS office skills are required.
- For communication and documentation purposes, German and English technical language experience in speaking and writing is essential required.
- Driving license and willingness to travel for project relevant needs or meetings.
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
